About

I was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to Italian parents, Beatrice and Mario. We (and by we I mean the grownups) decided to move back to Italy when I was 4 and my sister, Cecilia, was 2 years old. My youngest sister, Teodora (we call her Dodi) was born one year later.

I changed many schools throughout my childhood - my parents' focus was on education and making sure my sisters and I always stayed perfectly bilingual. What never changed for me, however, was the passion for performing arts. I know, good segue, right? My mother loves movies, theatre and musicals and she encouraged me, Ceci and Dodi to learn music, perform and express ourselves artistically...which is ironic since my parents are both scientists - though they tell me there is a beauty in solving a mathematical equation, so I guess art and science are not that far apart!

In school, at summer camps and at home I always loved practicing accents and singing my heart out (my neighbors still complain for my unwarranted rendering of 'Defying Gravity').

I spent practically my whole childhood and adolescence in Turin, Italy, and then I moved to Milan where I earned a University degree in Cultural Heritage. Now I live in New York City, doing what most people come to New York City for: complaining about everywhere else, because everywhere else isn't NYC! Oh, and I'm also here to fulfill my passion pursuing a career as a professional performer.
